      Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 6 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Procter & Gamble nel mese di apr 2011

      Colloquio

      We all know what P&G is: a massive company. The hiring process is quite long, and cumbersome. First, you have to fill out some online forms, and after that you will receive an e-mail, with a link for the second step, which is some IQ tests. I aced them (as in, know for a fact I made ZERO mistakes). A week later you get another e-mail, and you have to actually go to the offices, with 40 other people, and make an IQ and Skill test, on which I did pretty good. At the end of it, you wait some 30 mins and the HR people come back with a letter for you. It either invites you to the third step or thanks you for your time. The third step, later that very same day, involves being interviewed by someone random inside the company. This is where I feel the hiring process sucks. Not only was I older than the girl interviewing me, I absolutely owned that interview, only to get an email later that week that I was out of the process, with the well known ban of 1 year. Really? The position is entry level. I have a law degree, I have two small business which I run (and do not conflict in any way with P&G) with my brother. I will never understand why this happened. Being interviewed by an amateur, with aboslutely no knowledge whatsoever in law (she was in sales)... dumbest idea ever. Next time I'll make sure I don't bore my interviewer to death with the litigation stories and professional success anecdotes. Maybe next time I'll try to act like a corporate zombie, instead of a self driven individual. The condescending tone of the rejection email, as well as the refusal of the HR dept. to give me feedback, has just cost them a customer. I'll avoid buying P&G products whenever I can.
