I completed an initial phone screen with the company. The screen was extremely short and included questions about start availability, work authorization, etc. After the initial phone screen, someone from the team reached out to me via email on a Monday regarding my availability to participate in an email with a member on the team. After placing my availability for an interview I was sent another email on Friday to insert updated availability. After putting in my updated availability that Friday, I was scheduled for an interview on a Wednesday two weeks out. On the day of my interview, I was sent an automated rejection email two hours before my interview. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I sent an email ahead of the scheduled interview time to clarify if a mistake had occurred and didn't receive a response until 50 minutes after the interview. The email I received confirmed that they did go forward with another candidate. The lack of correspondence and consideration of my time and obligations was honestly very disappointing because I was looking forward to interviewing. Hopefully, they change this practice in the future.

It was a thorough interview and the team was communicative during the interview process, however after starting the interview process they decided they weren’t hiring until later in the year.
