I was approached by the company recruiter in 3 days after applying online. A Telephonic round was setup with a Senior Associate. The interview happened for around 1 hour. It was more like a discussion rather than an interview with the interviewer explaining about the role and getting to know my profile through the projects I have done. Though the role was specified to be around comprehensive due diligence, it was more in line with operational due diligence. The interviewer was warm and patient through out the interview before politely telling me that my profile doesn't match the specific skill set they are looking for The HR who was handling this role had zero idea about the role. Even after me telling that my current role involved much of commercial and financial due diligence, she said my profile matched their requirement. While she was very particular about my acknowledgement for her mails, she didn't even have the courtesy to update me on my application status after the interview nor did she reply me after I asked for an update about the same
