It started with a call from a recruiter, once that 15 mins call was interviews were scheduled after 3 weeks. The interview was okay, but the interviewer was not very good interms for vocabulary and explanation, overall an okay experience

The company’s official language is English. They told me the interview would be in Japanese and I told them to withdraw me from the process as I currently speak only very basic Japanese. They responded to say the interview would be conducted in English. The interview was conducted in Japanese. The three interviewers asked me a series of technical and behavioural questions. In response I told them my dog’s name, my favourite flavour of ice cream and asked directions to the swimming pool. I worry someone’s time may have been wasted, there…
