Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite segnalazione di un dipendente. La procedura ha richiesto 2 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Rdio (San Francisco, CA) nel mese di nov 2013
Colloquio
I was referred by a friend who was employed there, and had a phone screen. After a fair amount of followup with their internal recruiter, I was brought in for an onsite. During the onsite I interviewed with a few engineers, had lunch with some of the team and met with their recruiter to discuss salary (before being made an offer).

Colloquio
The process began with a skills based phone screening. The screening was fair and thorough, and the interveiwer was appropriately forgiving about minor mistakes. The interview generally felt more like a friendly conversation, and it was very easy to relax and honestly express my knowledge and personality.
Following the screening, I was flown to San Francisco for an on-site interview with a total of four potential team members, an HR representative, and my would-be supervisor (who had conducted the original screening). It was one of the fairest and most well-conducted interview processes I've ever been through. Everyone was extremely easy to get along with, and again it was perfectly easy to relax and be myself.
Domande di colloquio [1]
Domanda 1
Most questions were about standard data management algorithms and specific Unix commands. During the on-site interview I was asked to do a couple whiteboard problems (in the programming language of my choice) involving sorting and manipulating sets of data. Be sure to review sorting algorithms and Big-O notation before hand.
