Recruiter screen, tech screen with the hiring manager, and then onsite. Typical tech interview process. Overall, it was good. I was ghosted after the on-site so that was negative. Somehow I didn’t get a debrief before the on-site as well, which is also negative. But the interview itself wasn’t too bad. I applied for a Data Engineer position but scheduled for the Data Warehouse Engineer position. I took the interview anyway.

TL;DR Spent 5+ hours interviewing and passed, but denied by CEO? Initially interviewed for senior role, but did not move to the onsite. Recruiter reached back out a month later, since they now had a non-senior opening, and fast-tracked me to the virtual onsite. After the virtual onsite, recruiter was very quick to follow-up, and told me the team wanted to have one more technical interview before making a final decision. Passed the bonus round and agreed verbally on the offer. After 2 days, recruiter called to let me know that the CEO has to sign every single offer letter. Unfortunately, my offer was presented but did not receive the CEO's approval/signature, even though they were not part of the interview process at all.... I asked for more details, but was told vague answers around potentially re-shaping the role, lack of prior knowledge from the CEO about this role, etc... It sounds like the company might be chasing ex-FAANG engineers who were laid off since tech salaries are depressed due to market conditions...
