I was accepted to take an interview online which went well. I was asked some basic programming questions and some motivational questions. The experience was generally positive. However, a few days later I received an email saying that they are no longer recruiting for the position. I don't appreciate having my time wasted if they didn't want to recruit for the role in the first instance.

The first stage interview was with an Engineering manager. This interview consisted of questions related to ways of working, experience and some technical questions. I was given time at the end to ask questions.
