Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 4 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Rokt (New York, NY) nel mese di dic 2023
Colloquio
- Recruiter screen: standard 15-min call to discuss background.
- IQ-style online assessment: logic, math, pattern-matching etc questions. You have to answer as many as you can in the allotted amount of time [weird and outdated practice).
- Portfolio review with 1 designer: standard walkthrough of your work. Found it strange that this came before the 1-1 with hiring manager.
- Onsite (part 1) 45 min live design exercise and 30 min 1-1 with hiring manager. Went in person to NYC office for this. Exercise was generic/unrelated to Rokt.
- Onsite (part 2) 45 min with head of product. Had the option to come back in to the office or do this over Google Meet (they don't use Zoom). Unclear why this wasn't part of the first onsite. Discussed my experience, career ambitions, my thoughts on the future of ecommerce, "why Rokt" etc.
- "Bar raiser" interview with exec of another dept. This concept is borrowed from Amazon. Asked questions around Rokt's values - they really stress that people who join Rokt are "high achievers" and "can get through adversity" and want to see that in your responses.
- Offer call

Tell me about a time you overcame a difficult challenge?

Colloquio
First I had an intro interview with a recruiter. After I had a session with the manager of the design team, and then a technical interview/portfolio review with a Senior Designer. After I interviewed with the CTO, took the CCAT test, and then had my final round "Bar Raiser" interview with an executive in another department (which was like a humility, adversity, and personality test). The whole process took 9.5 weeks from first contact to an offer
