      Colloquio

This was one of my worst interview experience ever. I was contacted by a Salesforce Recruiter and was told some details of the project. She then proceeded to set up an interview with the hiring manager. During the hiring manager interview, he told me that the project details the recruiter gave me were incorrect and what I understood was not right. Then he proceeded with the technical screen. Initially I did stumble, since I didn't expect this to be a technical screen. But I was able to answer all the rest of the questions. But I didn't really expect a call back. As expected, I got an email from the recruiter that they are not moving forward. All good ! A couple weeks later, the same lady contacts me again and says she floated my resume in the company and now another team would like to do a "Live Video Coding Session". Okay, I am cool with that. I get ready for the "Live Video Coding Session". When my interviewer comes online, he tells me that the position has already been filled and they really don't have anything called a "Live Video Coding Session". So I ask him what is going on and he says he doesn't know either but he goes ahead and does another Verbal Technical screening. This time I am much better prepared, and I answer all the questions he puts forward. He says he will inform the recruiter about next steps. Next day, I get another email from the same recruiter saying "We will not be moving forward". So at this point, I am wondering what's going on. Couple days later, I get another email from another guy saying "Congratulations ! you have passed the first round of screening" ! I am really confused by this point. So I email this new recruiter guy and ask him what exactly is going on. So he calls me and gives me this whole spiel about how the interview process at his location is so different and that he will personally make sure that I get a chance to be in their priority system. By the time we hang up, he promises to send me the details of the Remote programming Test! 1 week goes by in radio silence. At the end of the week, I again email this person asking him whether he would be sending the details for the RPT. And lo and behold, I get yet another "We will not be moving forward" from this person too. I am appalled at the lack of communication and lack of professionalism from a company like Salesforce. From this entire process, I got to know 2 things: a)You guys do not give any respect to the candidate. The candidate's time and effort are worth nothing. If the position had been filled, you should have had the courtesy to inform the candidate. My time is valuable too and I would not have had to take time off of work for this charade. b)You people do not talk to each other. The constant back and forth of "No you didn't get through the screening", "Yes, you got through to the next round" was exhausting and frankly demeaning ! I wish you would make sure the position is really there before contacting the candidate. I am very very disappointed in the way Salesforce recruiting team handled the whole thing. The way the last person communicated this to me was not cool. In fact, they didn't let me know until I went asking for it. I had hoped to get a chance to interview with Salesforce and clearly, that didn't work out and I am not impressed !

      Domanda 1

About 20 questions in both technical screens. The first screening specifically was core java questions alone. In the second screening, there were java, html, css, javascript and servlet questions. Example : Verbally tell me the code of a servlet that prints Hello World

Diving into the technical round, I was presented with a merging intervals problem that required careful thought on overlapping intervals. The solution needed to be efficient, and I felt comfortable tackling it thanks to my prep. A total stroke of luck hit me when I realized the question was nearly identical to one I worked on at PracHub. After that, I moved through a behavioral interview discussing my previous experiences, and overall, it felt like a solid exchange. I received an offer shortly after and accepted.

Merge Intervals - given an array of intervals where intervals[i] = [start, end], merge all overlapping intervals and return an array of the non-overlapping intervals that cover all the intervals in the input
