This was an uncomfortable one. I had a hiring manager interview with the director of the team. She started the conversation by saying how excited she was that I was female, a minority, and I spoke foreign languages. I was awkward right from the start after she pointed all that out. Then, she tried to push me to agree to work hours outside of normal working hours. To end this awkward interview, she announced she was going to list skills and I had to rate myself on a scale of 1 to 5 for each skill. Honestly, one of the worst interviews I’ve had in a while.

Literally read through the job post and had me rate my skills on a scale of 1-5. I was told “don’t think about it, just give a number”
The application was straightforward 3 steps in total one with the recuirter, HM interview and a panel. The panel was quite challenging. I felt like i walked into a cold room immediately.

Un percorso di selezione strutturato prevede diverse fasi: un primo colloquio HR conoscitivo, un approfondimento tecnico, e infine un panel in cui presentare tramite demo una soluzione costruita sugli specifici requisiti dell’azienda fittizia, seguendo uno storytelling chiaro ed efficace.
