The interviews weren’t difficult but I had to go through 3 of them. The location I was at wanted to make sure we had charismatic personalities. The first interview was a group interview and they largely observe how you interact with a group of people. The second interview is with the one who was going to be your direct supervisor. The second one is with the assistant store manager.

Why’s the best way to start a conversation with a total stranger?

Pretty standard interview. A lot of the questions emphasized selling to the customer so focus on that. If they ask what your favourite product is, don’t just say what it is. Try to sell it to the interviewer.

10 minute call over the phone, asked maybe around 10 ish common interview questions. Relatively easiy interview process and then they ask about availability, right to work, etc. at the end.
During the group interview process, all participants were asked the same set of structured questions. These included questions about industry knowledge, customer service skills, and several realistic scenario-based problem-solving situations.
