The interview was with the CEO for a non-advertised role based on a referral. We had a chat over coffee at the company's office. He didn't seem to have much of an understanding of what a People function is or should be which was really quite surprising for a company that's gotten to the scale where Shedul / Fresha is at. He eventually followed up to say they would instead focus on finding a Head of HR. When I enquired about the difference between the 2 roles (since they are obviously the same thing), he didn't come back to me... Not a particularly good experience.
