After submitting an application I was sent an email to schedule Recruiter Roulette which was four 5 minute conversations with recruiters over Skype to go over their famed life story. People were very friendly and we're open to any stream of conversation. Less than a week later I got an email to schedule an in person interview. Went it to the very nice office and checked in at the front. Got a name tag and waited. After a warm welcome and glass of water the life story interview began. When the interview started I was really excited about the role and Shopify. As I learned more about the role, I realized that it wasn't a good fit for me. I left the interview feeling well heard and very excited as Shopify as a place for someone else. Was told they would get back to us in a week and that was true to the case. I didn't move forward and know it is for the best. The interview process was creative and personable and I recommend that anyone who wants in and thinks they are a fit - apply!

The recruiters were super friendly and the overall experience was extremely positive; very responsive team and kept me in the loop about each stage ( was a long process but didn't feel confusing or overwhelming). having worked in TA for years I could tell they value candidate experience.
