The recruiter was scattered, hadn't pulled up anything on her screens, didn't know who she was talking to, etc. At the end of the call, she promised that she "wouldn't ghost me."
I was then invited to have a call with another recruiter. I was waiting for her to begin the call within Google Meets and was then emailed and told to call her at a long distance number. I could hear her puttering around, pressing microwave buttons, etc. She was asking me questions which made it clear that she did not have my resume in front of her, nor had she reviewed it in advance of the call. I was also charged $10 for the long distance call because she did not use her own Google Meets invite (probably because she wasn't seated at her desk and perhaps she didn't know how to use the platform from her cell phone).
Both recruiters weren't knowledgeable of the position, were disorganized, and most importantly, appeared to not care about their own recruitment process or how they represented their company.
I didn't hear back despite the promise that I would - however I can't be sure if I was determined to be a poor fit or if I just fell off the radar because of their disorganization and/or detachment from their own recruitment process.
