The interview process started smoothly. I applied for the BDR role in early September and progressed quickly through each stage, meeting the team and having really positive conversations. After the final interview, I received a verbal offer and was told the written contract would follow within a few days.
After that, the process became unclear & disorganised. There was no internal recruiter involved, so all communication came through the hiring manager, who tried to keep me updated but didn’t have concrete information to share. I was told the offer approval relied on a single individual internally, who was difficult to reach, which meant no one could provide a timeline for when I could expect a contract. I was reassured several times that I was backfilling a confirmed role, but despite this, weeks passed with no progress or clarity.
Overall, the interviews themselves were positive, but the post-offer stage lacked transparency, structure, and reliable communication. I waited over a month and never received a written contract.
I’m sharing this so future candidates have clearer expectations about the post-offer process.
