Got a pre-screening interview. The person with heavy accent and crappy sound quality conducted the interview, asked about my background and his sound told me he didn't like my experiences. After he asked a question about C++, I felt I provided a not-bad answer, but he apparently wasn't happy about it and refused to go any further and concluded I don't have the skills he needs. I am confused about why he chose to interview me when he didn't like what I wrote on my resume at the first place ,and made the whole process in his biased view

Initial phone screen with a friendly HR recruiter. Went over education, work history, and some simple behavioural questions. Next I was contacted to schedule an on-site interview. The on-site was with two interviewers (one tech team lead one manager). After the technical part, the tech team lead leaves the room, and a behaviour interview (expect to be able to explain projects/experiences on resume) with the manager follows. A week after that I was contacted with an interview with the CEO. The CEO has a clear idea about the company direction. Showed an emphasis on teamwork and company culture. Overall a smooth process, the employees there were very friendly and welcoming. HR recruiter does a good job updating on the status and is quite flexible with regard to scheduling.
