They required me to clone a github repo and implement some functionality with react and typescript. Had to share the whole screen and camera as well. It was automated, no human was present. Time limit was 1.5 hours. The repo took forever to download despite a 100Mbps connection so I just stopped the test. Its such a horrible way to assess a candidate

You're invited to do a 90 minutes automated technical assessment where you record yourself with no interviewer present. I completed all the problems while explaining my reasoning. There was no follow-up until I contacted them, then within 20 minutes they sent me the automated rejection email. It gave me the impression that nobody actually reviewed my technical assessment, so my advice would be don't waste your time applying.
