I was contacted by Spotify recruiter and shortly after we had out first conversation on Skype where I walked over my background and shared my experience with Spotify. We then scheduled a one-hour technical Skype interview during which we discussed several technical subjects, related to my experience (no CS puzzles or brainteaser were asked). Following that I was given a coding assignment in Python which took me a number of days to complete. After that I was invited for on-site interview and went to Stockholm where I had 4 one-hours meetings and a lunch with the team. We started at 10AM and 3PM sharp we were done and I was out. All questions asked were professional and highly relevant to my experience with building CI/CD systems in the past. We discussed no CS materials. Shortly after coming home I received an email with an offer. The whole process took about 2 months but that involved various vacations in between. Overall, my interviewing experience with Spotify was highly positive, both recruiter and my hiring manager were very responsive and helpful. People I met in Stockholm were super-friendly and helpful as well.
