Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite segnalazione di un dipendente. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Spotify (San Francisco, CA) nel mese di gen 2023
Colloquio
No recruiter preparation provided throughout the whole interview process, lack of clarity around who I was speaking to and when. Questions from hiring manager not related in any way to background or expertise such as “imagine you’re running a lemonade stand, what metrics are important?” Additional interviewer added to case interview without any heads up or preparation. No communication after final interview for over a week and a half. In final rejection email feedback was offered by recruiter, when I followed up to accept the feedback the response was “we don’t have any feedback to share at this time.”

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 4 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Spotify (New York, NY) nel mese di ago 2024
Colloquio
I applied online through Spotify’s own website and career portal and then was contacted by HR for an initial phone screening interview call roughly 2 weeks after. After this call, the recruiter scheduled a 30 minute video interview with the hiring manager. The Hiring Manager was very kind in providing additional context about the role and its responsibilities itself as well as the broader organization it would sit under. HM asked pretty broad questions about my work experience and the follow up questions were aimed with how this would tie into the role requirements. Got an automated email 1-2 days later from the recruiter with no information and when I followed up asking for any feedback I was not provided with any.

Can you talk about a product launch you worked on? What was your involvement and what was the end result?
I had in-depth Interviews with recruiter, manager, and team lead. I also spoke to other members of the team, but they weren't decision-makers. It was more of a check on culture fit.
