The recruiter was kind and kept me up to date on the timeline and when there were delays. I did a phone screen and written project (objective: compose responses to individuals looking to work at stripe/getting denied by stripe/etc). I was then told by the recruiter that they were not moving forward with me. I really wanted to know why because I thought my responses were spot on, so I asked her for feedback on what I could improve on but haven’t received anything in return. I understand that they want to focus their attention on potential candidates but I feel that ignoring my request for feedback goes against everything they try to claim they are as a company — inclusive, innovative, striving to serve as a beacon of knowledge and exceptionalism. A simple email saying that they didn’t have time to provide feedback would be alright, but to go silent on me was insult to injury. I really respect stripe as a company and wanted to know what I can improve on so that I can one day apply again. Unfortunately, the ending of this experience has turned me off quite a bit.

Had a brief 30 minute "behavioral" phonically interview. A couple days later I got an email saying they were not moving forward. I did not get any real feedback on why I was not selected to move on to the next round.

I applied through the stripe site and was contacted within a few days to set up an interview through a scheduling tool- the interviewer ended up having to reschedule just prior to our meeting, but we did finally connect.
Initial interview was pretty basic with general questions, the interviewer was personable and gave me a take home test consisting of composing answers to a series of emails to be completed in three business days.
I was not able to submit my test to the link provided as it was no longer active after 1 day, so I emailed it to the recruiter as indicated if there were issues submitting and have not heard from them since.
Stripe seemed like an interesting place to work, but the recruiting process leaves a bit to be desired.

1. Recruiter Screen 2. Written Project 3. Onsite (virtual interview w/5 different people) 4. Recruiter Debrief 5. Recruiter Follow up with decision Stripe did a very good job with their recruiting coordinator team to make the scheduling aspect of the multiple interviews very easy and seamless.
