I went through two interview rounds before being ghosted — which is disappointing after investing time and effort. The first interview was with HR, who recorded the session without sharing it afterwards. Strangely, it included several technical questions outside the scope of a typical HR role.
The second round was with the Head of Growth Marketing, and unfortunately, it was even worse. The tone of the interview felt more like an exam than a conversation. When I shared relevant achievements from my current position, I was met with sarcasm and doubt, which was both discouraging and unprofessional.
Overall, the process lacked transparency, empathy, and basic candidate respect. It gave me a very negative impression of the company culture and leadership. In hindsight, I regret continuing the process after the first interview.
