Initial telephone interview where we went over my technical background and the requirements of the position. After this interview I was invited for a face to face interview, and afterwards to take two programming tests. The session consisted of several of technical puzzles which required some coding and at the same time search around for additional information and discuss with one of their developers. I had to reverse engineer a recursion pattern. It contained some challenges that made the interview unnecessarily long, and offered them an opportunity to lowball your compensation package. The employment offer was far from my stated compensation requirements. It would be nice if a salary range indication was given up front, as not to waste theirs and candidates time in the future.

I applied through LinkedIn. The interview consisted of four steps: a brief conversation with HR, a home assignment, a technical interview and a cultural interview. The assignment and the technical session were both easy.
