The interview process at Grammarly was one of the most challenging I’ve experienced — but also one of the most rewarding. Each step pushed me to dig deeper, learn more about the company, and truly understand the product and its mission. And with every new insight, I became even more excited about the opportunity to join.
What stood out most to me throughout the process was the culture. Everyone I interacted with — from HR to hiring managers to future teammates — was incredibly kind, smart, genuine, and driven. It’s clear Grammarly doesn’t just talk about values; they live them. They care deeply about building a team that reflects their culture, and they’re intentional about finding people who align with it.
The recruiting team was communicative and moved quickly after each step. I felt supported, respected, and genuinely seen throughout the process — something that’s not always guaranteed in today’s hiring landscape.
If you're someone who values growth, great leadership, and meaningful work, it’s absolutely worth the process.
Steps: HR screening > interview with hiring managers > mock call > interview with VP of Sales > offer if any

Smooth, Efficient, Fair. Follow ups were scheduled quickly, members showed up on time. Offer was extremely competitive and negotiations were fair. This process is one I wish would be replicated industry wide.
Incredible process. It was probably the best interview process of my career. It gave me a very good understanding of their culture, the people, the market, why customers buy, and I had every opportunity to learn about the company.
