System design becomes where you are forced to say whatever your interviewer is asking - no creativity required. Coding test was just testing if you have proper head placement. Even with all of these, you might not get the position you want. They will try really hard to downgrade.

A recruiter reached out to me and asked me to book a meeting to discuss the company opening and my experience. The first interview was coding, the second was system design, and the last one was with an engineering director with whom I discussed my experience, some simple system design questions, and 1-2 behavioural questions.
