Applied for the software engineer role, and I have a Masters degree (applying for an entry level role).
They give you a Hacker Rank test to begin with which I think was something related to counting sort (sort a string by character). After passing all test cases on HackerRank, no one reached out to me and I had to reach out to one of the engineering leads.
They then shared an exercise to create an n-way set associative cache using Java, C# or Python. I tried to clarify requirements as soon as I started working on it, but every reply used to take an average of 4 business days with most responses requiring multiple emails of following up. I even asked the engineer whether we could talk on phone or in person at their office in at least three different emails, but this questions was conveniently left unanswered each time.
Overall I think that this company should not give such big tests if they do not have people who can handle the amount of questions that this test (N way set associative cache) shall involve. The person I was in contact with did answer my questions but it always took a lot of time and multiple emails to get a response. Overall I would recommend that no one else spend their time on doing this test for this company. It's just not worth it.
I got rejected a few weeks ago and after following up multiple times (3 times), I have not gotten any response as to what I could have improved. I incorporated all changes suggested to me but was told that the submission doesnt satisfy the requirements. This company is just not worth the time that they demand from you.

I applied for a SDE position in Sydney AU. Online accessed + recruiter call + 4 rounds onsite rounds. The recruiter was super efficient and professional, some interviewers were very professional and friendly, however, the hiring manager had astonishingly bad manners, he gave an ambiguous and topic and didn’t collaborate or specify what aspects to focus on, as I continued to seek clarification, he became visibly frustrated and started yelling. Would recommend the company to improve the mental maturity of this hiring manager from HK before allowing him to become an interviewer again. The hiring manager's terrible manner explains why the same job has been posted again and again on Linkedin but never been filled over the last 2 months.
