Had the first round call with another team lead. Answered all questions perfectly, she was very happy with my answers and was nodding smiling saying great. This gave me hope that I was doing well. During the interview I was so well prepared that she randomly mentioned I should not use AI to answer questions. I said of course I’m not using AI? This threw me off and I found it quite rude. Then some of the answers she was saying were great and that they need someone like me because it’s very fast paced and unpredictable. Which looked like red flags to me anyway. I ended up not getting through to the next round and got no feedback. I chased feedback for 1 week and got a very generic reply. Wouldn’t apply again.
