The interview process at Tim Hortons was a bit surreal. I scoured through Glassdoor for potential interview questions and experiences, but it didn't match what has been reported on this forum. That's probably because since 3G took over the operations, they've not just overhauled the culture but also the interview process.
The interview was a pure stress interview where they wanted to uncover the candidate's "motivation" to apply for the position - considering they maintain really long hours, have stiff internal competition and are exceptionally high on intensity. While I have given stress interviews in the past, this one bordered on being a bit disrespectful. The interviewer was dismissive and rude which didn't make for the best interview experience.
However, I do respect that they maintained transparency from the word go - they were open that people should be okay to clock in 80-100 hour work weeks. I am not sure if I would ever sign up for that, but if you're fine with that, its a great brand for your resume.
