I interviewed with the hiring manager for the role. He asked me what I knew about certain tools that Transperfect is creating as well the file types and databases that house the files used in the proprietary tools. I gave him honest answers and he responded with a criticism of my resume. It felt like he didn't believe I was competent and was looking for ways to prove that. I left the conversation feeling belittled, underestimated and disrespected. I asked the hiring manager to remove my candidacy for the role because of how the interview went. I felt no desire to work on such a condescending man's team.
