I applied online. First round is phone interview with a Sr Data Scientist of the team I was interviewing with. He mostly asked ML rapid fire like questions with applications in text, recommendation systems and images. This followed by a ML case study - predicting price to set for a listing with some constraints. After 1 week, got the onsite in Boston, MA. I had three rounds of interview . Two were case study/ ML/DL discussion. One round coding

Colloquio

First interview with HR, it was asked questions about statistics that made sense for the role. They validate the salary expectation and described the benefits (very good). Second interview, Straightforward with their needs for the position. Good conversation with the manager, the guy was sympathetic.

5 rounds of interview after the recruiter call. One initial screening with the hiring manager, 4 more specific interviews with team members of specific aspects of data science job. Everyone very well prepared to have the interviews.
