I had an interview with Turo in March 2018. Interview process was smooth and pretty good. It tests candidate on every aspect including Product knowledge and culture fit. Technical interviews included Web Architecture design, coding session and API design. The whole interview process is pretty fast. I got an offer the next day of my onsite interview.
Pros
Turo culture is amazing and they are able to maintain it despite the growth. People are fun to work with. Work life balance is pretty good too. There is weekly catered lunch.
Cons
Compensation is little low as compared to Peers. No 401k contribution by company. Hard to find a meeting room.

Recruiter reached out and sent a coding challenge. Composed of 5 coding questions you have to answer in 1:15 hr. 3 were simple and 2 were leetcode hard and not doable for the time given. Not worth the time and effort because the questions they provide need more time. I rather go to FAANG.

Very easy going. The process was a chat with a recruiter, a phone screen, and then a virtual onsite that was standard (included system design, another coding round, API design, and a behavioral interview). Team was extremely nice, but did not proceed due to low compensation and level did not fit correctly.
