Wasn't even an interview, at least in the traditional sense. I went in, I was explained what the job was and asked if I was willing to do it. I said yes, and that was it, I was sent out the door and told to wait for an email about a drug test. The position didn't sound that bad but I was told that if a post office in another state needs coverage I would need to drive my personal vehicle an hour out of the way to cover whenever they needed, and apparently this happens often? I wasn't okay with hearing this, but I was still willing to do the job. Anyway, I was unemployed at the time and desperate for a job, I'm interviewing at other places in the meantime. Two weeks go by, still no email from USPS about a drug test and I accepted a job somewhere else. Another two weeks go by and I finally get an email offering me the position and get paperwork for a drug test. It was way too late by that point, to send me a drug test a whole month after interviewing is absurd.

Its a very strenuous job. Takes alot of courage going out during any type of weather. Pay is fair 17.00 per hr. There isnt a quota. Managment can be overbearing. During the holidays massive overtime. Be ready to give up time and family.

Test based only no interviews are given. Hiring on test scores only in score order. Almost perfect score, passed all training. On site, on the job training was inadequate and did not have awareness of needed accommodations
