The process was quick, it was a matter of two weeks before they made their final decision. It was clear that they took time to think about the interviewer and interviewee.

General tell me about yourself and are you open to remote work?
It was an phone screen. The interviewer was very rude, she constantly stops me and sounds like she has no interest in hiring me even before I talked. WTF.

I applied online and got contacted by the recruiter maybe after a week. She was very interested in my background, and mostly talked about the role and salary. She was concerned that my expected salary is above their range and already started negotiations on the salary in the first 5 minutes of my interview.. I guess Upwork in not in a position that can invest a lot in adding new members to their team, which is a negative sign.
