1. How do you scale Airflow task that has performance issues.

The company brags about being different and value people, after almost 2 month of the selection process, they don't provide the feedback when you ask them for it.
On top of that, during the Why Veeva interviews, I experienced something unexpected: a Senior Director mocked me for being native in two languages. According to him, if you weren’t born with a language, you couldn’t reach a native level. Ironically, this conversation didn’t involve any of the languages in question, and he himself wasn’t fluent in either language he claimed I wasn’t native in.

Know Spark well. Annoying questions around Spark trivia. Thought it went very well but didn't make it through, no solid feedback. Seemed like they wanted me to know AWS systems when I had already communicated I didn't, and the interview was Spark focused. very confusing experience.

The interview process was led by technical people, not HR, which i liked.
5 interviews in total, some of them technical (system design and job skills) but no live-coding or take home tests, all was based on oral communication.
All interviewers wee Data Engineers or Managers, except for the last one which was with the VP of Data.
I passed the first four interviews and have a call where we aligned on salary expectations and potential teams to join. Then had the last interview and I was turned down after that.
