I submitted my resume and was contacted within a matter of days. A few days after that, an interview was scheduled. A few hours after my initial interview, a second interview was scheduled. My second interview (I had two interviews over skype) lasted about an hour. I was offered a position less than a week later. I think the entire process took two weeks (from sending my resume to accepting the offer).

Applied online and received an email regarding a phone screen. I was phone screened by a recruiter who was very nice and our conversation went very well. He invited me onsite where I had a 2 hour interview with various people. The interview was very challenging because questions were just coming back and forth. One lady was very strict and not welcoming at all. A high level manager ( department and name will be kept confidential) interviewed me and was not the most friendliest person. In fact, I could tell right away he did not like me because he asked me a very random question.
Point and advice: I was not offered the position because they went with someone who had more experience in the focus of the internship. that is understandable, however, this is an internship TO GAIN experience! also, this should of been developed and realized during the initial phone screen. it was a waste of my time.

I met a recruiter at a career fair, talked about past experience, then got a call back that they would like to schedule an on campus interview. I met one on one with an engineer from Homeaway, they asked some basic CS questions and then told me they would call in a few days if they wanted to move forward.
