The interview process was one of the strangest ones I've ever had. I read other reviews on Glassdoor so I had an idea of what to expect, but I still found it strange. I first had an initial phone chat with a recruiter that was about 30 minutes long. On the chat, the recruiter asked very basic questions about how I found WebFX, why I was interested in the position, and why I was interested in digital marketing. After the phone call, the recruiter sent me straight to "round 2" of the process which was a 2-part interview process. One part of the written interview was filling out a Google questionnaire with 13 short-answer questions. The second part was filling out an entire profile / online resume for them. The second part was pretty unnecessary in my opinion because if the recruiting team had read your resume that you send in with the initial application, there's really no explanation for why they needed you to complete this. Also, one of the questions they asked was "how did you fund your education?" I found this question to be inappropriate and invasive to ask in an interview. After the written interview, I made it to "round 3" which was a video interview. Before the video interview, they make you take 3 personality tests. The actual interview was strange. All of the questions revolved around what kind of student I was in college, what classes did I take, why was my GPA not a 4.0. They also asked a lot of "are you this or that" questions. None of the questions had anything to do with my work or internship experience, my interest in the position, or any of my experience relating to marketing. The interviewer was not engaged in the interview at all either. Her response to every one of my answers was simply "okay", before moving straight to the next question. I did not make it to "round 4" but they did let me know that I was "in the top 0.2% of the 2000 applicants who applied for the position". Overall, strange interview process and extremely drawn out. The third interview was especially strange, I have no idea how that interview would go for a candidate that wasn't a recent college graduate, as that's all they asked me about for a straight 45 minutes. Very odd to not ask the candidates about their experiences relating to the position or position responsibilities.
