The next day I get email: Unfortunately, we have decided not to proceed with your candidacy for the Data Engineer/Scientist opening at Werk. We received many qualified applicants and have decided to move ahead with another candidate who we feel is a better match for this particular position. We will keep your resume on file and reach out in the future if our needs change or if a role becomes available that we think you’d be the right fit for. Thanks again for your interest in Werk and we wish you luck in your search. Why tell the candidate that he will have the next round and then reject the next day? avoid this company as they are not honest with candidates this reflects that they will tell lies on your face to not disappoint you by telling the truth, also if you don't trust my recommendation to avoid this place see the other interview experiences.
