I attended two rounds of interviews for the Sales Pod Leader role, and overall, the experience was quite disappointing. During the interviews, the co-founder, Niranjan, spent a significant amount of time talking about his previous startup exit in the US rather than focusing on a meaningful discussion about the role or evaluating practical sales capabilities. Many of the questions asked felt irrelevant to real- sales scenarios, and it seemed like there was an expectation to provide very specific “ideal” answers rather than having an open professional conversation. The professionalism of the company was also concerning. I was made to wait for hours at their office without proper communication or coordination. The office setup itself appeared quite unorganized and lacked the structure one would expect from a growing company. The recruitment process was equally unprofessional. The recruiter failed to provide timely updates regarding the management’s decision, and communication throughout the process was poor. From the overall interaction, the company appeared to be struggling operationally, with indications of constant firefighting with limited clients and dreams of listing the firm.The impression I got was that the offerings may not yet be mature enough to support stable growth. Overall, the interview experience reflected a lack of structure, professionalism, and respect for candidates’ time.
