Was referred into Twitter and nobody followed up with me. Asked my friend if everything was ok and then a Recruiting Manager followed up and we had an informational call. Nobody followed up with me after that. Pinged my friend again and then another Recruiter called me and asked what my hourly rate was. I'm currently FTE with good TC and a bunch of unvested stock, so I let her know that I'm not interested in a contract. Then she ended the call lol.
Horrible experience tbh. Maybe tell FTE candidates up front that you only do contracts.

Hiring process was standard, spoke with recruiter then the hiring manager. I was then scheduled for 3 x 45min interviews back to back, 1 x sourcing, 1x closing/pitching and 1x organisational behaviour, and was told they were the final.
Cool company, lots of exciting things going on and everyone came across lovely, very personable, except for 1 interviewer in the sourcing interview, he was extremely intense.
I reverted a week later to ask for feedback and got no response.
As a recruiter I know how important it is to get back to candidates and how a decent candidate experience can quickly turn into a negative experience.
Unfortunately, as I am still waiting for feedback, it was indeed a negative exp.

Recruiters were seemingly nice, however you could tell they were somewhat on a high horse. Most of them came from no technology background, yet were very judgmental about no straight tech industry experience. They harped on innovation and diverse backgrounds, however you could tell they only wanted someone from a competing tech company. Even though I am someone who has years of technical recruiting experience across different industries and frankly qualified, i felt belittled through 3 phone screens... “ so you don’t have any real tech experience.” I was very excited about this opportunity, but it turns out the company is a mirror image of every other Silicon Valley company as it does not welcome people with different industry knowledge that may actually propel the business forward. Additionally, I received no concrete feedback (although the utter cold tone in my last phone screen was enough) I was sent an email saying I’d be reached out to for other potential opportunities, which I have not.
