The interview process and various stages went well until I progressed to on site interview and the recruitment coordinator just stopped replying to my emails - this comes just after inviting me to the on site interview. First step was an phone screen with a recruiter. Generic questions about experience and why I want to work at Verizon. The second step was a video call with the hiring manager, which was pretty informal and friendly. A couple of days later I received an email from the recruiter saying that I was successful and am being invited to the 2h onsite interview. And that recruitment coordinator will be in touch. And I guess it's here where something in their process gets mixed up. The coordinator emails me 2 days later. I give her my availability and no reply from her henceforth. I email the following week, still nothing. Finally I emailed the recruiter - only to find out that the role has been filled. I'm really surprised that such a big company has such inapt recruitment team. Not to mention how upset I was that I wasted so much time preparing for this interview.
