I applied for a frontend position, and the interview process was well-defined. They guided me very well throughout the process. Firstly, I was interviewed by a talent acquisition specialist who asked me general questions, lasting around 30 minutes. The second interview was with my lead, covering general HR questions for approximately 30 minutes, followed by a 30-minute live coding interview. For the live coding interview, I recommend that future candidates prepare by solving a mix of easy and medium-level questions from the 'LeetCode Blind 75' list. After these initial interviews, there were three more interviews, each lasting one hour. The first one focused on general tech interview questions, including topics like functional programming, design patterns, and HTTP requests. I encountered some difficulty and became a bit nervous, but the interviewer's professional behavior helped calm me down. The next round involved a live coding interview. The first ten minutes covered discussions about my previous roles, followed by a coding problem to solve within 20 minutes. I successfully solved it, but the difficulty increased, and despite running out of time, I explained the solution. The interviewer ended the session by asking about the time complexity of my solution. The last round was about system design, lasting around 30 minutes. They inquired about my previous roles and experiences, even checking my GitHub during the interview. Additionally, they provided a page similar to one of Zalando's website pages, asking questions about implementing it. Overall, all interviewers were welcoming and warm, exceeding my expectations. The talent acquisition specialist was highly supportive and guided me well through the process.
