I was contacted by them on LinkedIn. They was looking for DevOps Engineer and offered relocation package to Hamburg. They sent a link to an online test which would take 45 minutes to complete. Since I wanted to know more about the role, compensation and skills they were looking for so I asked to have a recruiter call before the test. They asked me to finish the test before we set up a call. I completed the test within on the next day since it was a short test. I was surprised to see that test had Azure section and shell script section with 50% weighted each. I partially completed the shell script without attempting Azure section since I never did Azure before. I was sure that they weren’t expecting Azure since he contacted me on LinkedIn and must have checked my profile and skill set I mentioned there (which doesn’t include Azure). Within few days I got a rejection over LinkedIn with text “Hi Amandeep - unfortunately we hire not below 75% test result. Best!”. I was disappointed to know They did not check my LinkedIn profile for skills and contacted me for a job opportunity.
