Many other companies simply post their values on the wall and only talk about them during strategy meetings or all-hands. The company encourages big thinking and smart risk taking. The environment inspires creativity and invention through the level of talent and focus on the customer. I am constantly in awe at the caliber of the people and culture here.

Because there are so many things going on at Amazon and the growth and rate of development is so fast, things change fast and it is hard to keep track of what is going on across the company. You have to be willing and able to quickly adapt to an ever changing environment to be successful here.
