Key points include: - Deadlines are extremely tight, often pushing employees to work very hard and put in overtime. - Compensation frequently falls short of expectations. - A significant number of employees are underpaid; the company’s own salary ranges are not consistently applied. - There is no overtime compensation. - Proper raises and inflation adjustments have not been implemented for the past three years. - The salary policy is far less transparent than advertised. - Ways of Working are either poorly defined or poorly executed. - Managers have limited authority to advocate for their teams; once the executive team makes a decision, it cannot be changed and should not be questioned. - “Flexible working hours” mostly benefit the employer, not the employee. - Promotion opportunities are limited, and even when promotions happen, salary increases are minimal. Employees are often told they must remain in the role for a while before adjustments are made—adjustments that ultimately never come. - Employees are treated as disposable.
