      As a newer employee, Calix have a really nice on-boarding program that greatly eases your introduction to the company, culture and portfolio. I have never had this before at my previous employers and this really helped on my transition. There is a great vision for the company and the ELT are happy to discuss and walk you through these. The culture at the company is extremely good, no internal politics that I can see, everyone is out to help each other. Overall a really nice place to work.

      The benefits are still very US focused and providing some of these outside of the US would be the icing on the cake.

      Old-fashioned work culture where you're expected to execute without question. Excessive overtime work, release cycles are chaotic, and there's little appetite for improving systems or sustainability, it's all about following orders rather than thinking critically.
