They don't really pay that much attention to the people that work there or their career trajectories and they expect a lot. I interviewed for a job with a very specific tech stack - passed all the rounds of interviews, At each step I'd ask to confirm that the role was for the tech stack I was interested in - At every step the interviewer either passes the buck or confirms that the job description is correct. I get there on the first day and it's an entirely different tech stack/role. It was really tough to manage! Ended up getting laid off eventually in an unceremonious way with other people. The guy who took my key card was the same dude who lied to me in my final round interview.

I worked for Homes.com - You're doing 3 jobs in one and the pay does not reflect that - it is churn and burn. The average tenure here is 7 months - Management doesn't know what's going on 3/4 of the time. It is all up to the CEO and he's on his private jet more than 3/4 of the time
