5yHello and thanks for sharing your views with us. With restrictions still in place across the island of Ireland, many of our sales channels remain closed, and we took the difficult decision to furlough or grand paid absence to some of our employees.
The decision was made based on an assessment of the resources needed within the business. We considered the mental health and wellbeing of our teams and the frustration that many of our people feel at not being at full capacity, as they would like to be.
Where possible, we implemented a reduced working week, to ensure our employees could remain connected to the business and also manage the demands of childcare and other personal needs.
This is a temporary arrangement. All our employees remain on our payroll and will return to full working hours at the earliest opportunity.
We would like to suggest that you raise your unique circumstances with your line manager, who will assess if flexible working arrangements could be considered for the coming weeks to help you manage the demands of home life.
