DZone is a startup where you can make a real difference every day if you want to. It's a much better place to work than some of the negative reviewers here suggest, so I'd take the negative stuff with a big grain of salt. For example, the person who said there aren't any benefits is just plain wrong or lying. I got to choose from 6 different health insurance plans, and about 5-6 different vision and dental plans, and I get disability and life insurance that is totally paid for by the company. I think everybody in the company gets that. If you have what it takes to survive your first 90 days at DZone, then you will almost certainly also get solid raises and bonuses. I know I have, and I enjoy going to work and being part of the DZone team every day. It's a great place that demands a lot from you, but it feels really good to be a part of the success that DZone is building. Our customers are awesome, the products are awesome, and the team is awesome. I love the place.

You really can't coast or tread water for very long - you have to keep producing results to succeed, and sometimes it's hard. People who expect to leave work behind them when they leave the office will probably have a hard time. You have to work hard to succeed at DZone, maybe too hard.
