Typically teams are good (there are exceptions) and work is valued in the teams themselves. Emphasis on learning and we've more recently been given more learning tools like Pluralsight, WeLearn, Copilot license etc. Good work life balance (depending on which team you're on)

Svantaggi

Upper management has no clue or respect for employees. There have been a lot of middle managers hired in the last 5 years that have no clue or desire to learn about products.

Most colleagues are well intentioned, but stretched beyond the max.

After filing for FMLA, my “leader” encouraged me not to involve HR in the future. The whole point of FMLA is job protection. Him making this suggestion, at best, seems highly unethical and potentially illegal. Some leaders are good with people. Others are more techno sound. The ones that can effectively do both are let go. It makes no sense and the company offers little transparency.
