Flexibility, good benefits, decent vacation.

It may depend on the team you are on, but on my team the pathway for an individual to grow within their role and the company is very unclear. It cannot be found on a document, it is all manager discretion, and they never seem to want to have the conversation. Personally, I have been doing the work type and load of a Level 2 analyst for 18 months now, and have not even been offered the opportunity to have the conversation.

Most colleagues are well intentioned, but stretched beyond the max.

After filing for FMLA, my “leader” encouraged me not to involve HR in the future. The whole point of FMLA is job protection. Him making this suggestion, at best, seems highly unethical and potentially illegal. Some leaders are good with people. Others are more techno sound. The ones that can effectively do both are let go. It makes no sense and the company offers little transparency.
