Decent health and retirement benefits. Overall good coworkers. Secure employment. Transfer opportunities. Decent bonuses when they actually pay out(see advice to management).

Svantaggi

Long hours that get even longer when there is severe weather or traffic delays. Lower pay than others in the industry. Fewer advancement opportunities if aren’t into corporate politics. Pressure to hire and promote based on DEI vs. merit. Leadership below the Director level are treated as lesser than by upper management, employee relations and mileage compensated employees. Be prepared to make less than drivers and have it rubbed on your face.

- Insurance benefits are offered to part time employees - Pay is sufficient based on being part time - Management will send some communications regarding big picture matters - There is some leniency regarding calling out of work

Svantaggi

- The requirement to maintain insurance is becoming more difficult - Employees are not paid the same rate simply based on tenor rather than qualifications - Management will rarely, if ever, address direct employee concerns - Leniency for calling out only seems to apply for certain employees - There is no standard of training or written expectations readily available once hired
